DORNENREICH comment: „The track ‚Der Freiheit Verlangen nach goldenen Ketten‘ is in my mind probably one of the most dramatic pieces that has ever been created for Dornenreich“, writes mastermind Eviga. „This concerns both the emotional force of longing and despairing strength expressed in musical terms as well as the lyrical theme of the human nature being torn between its desire for freedom and self-assertion on one hand and its tendency towards wanting to belong and devotion on the other. It might well be the most fundamental conflict within the human soul, which is expressed through this song.
