Prophecy Fest is adding seven more acts for the festival’s three days and nights from Thursday, September 29 to Saturday, October 1 in one of the world’s most fascinating cultural locations, the legendary, natural Cave of Balve („Balver Höhle“).
The newly confirmed bands are: EMPYRIUM will delight the audience with an old school set that will see the whole of their magic sophomore album „Songs of Moors & Misty Fields“ being performed on stage. More witchcraft is guaranteed to emanate from American occult rock pioneers COVEN fronted by female trailblazer Jinx in a psychedelic ritual. Fast rising German outfit IMHA TARIKAT will debut at the festival to rule the cave with an iron fist of true black metal darkness. Also for the first time, Danish neofolk shamans OF THE WAND & THE MOON will come to Balve to put a more acoustic musical spell on the festival. The fine league of British gentlemen known as a A FOREST OF STARS will cross the channel to bring their unique occult branch of post-black metal to Germany. While it is only a short trip for VALBORG, the electric alchemists from the city of Bonn are promising to enchant the crowd with their sound experiments on metal. At Prophecy Fest every band is considered to be a headliner. Therefore it is not an indication of status that DOLD VORDE ENS NAVN conclude the announcement. This collective of veterans from Oslo will deliver a harsh demonstration of original Norwegian black metal.
