NAPALM DEATH (UK) – Coded Smears And More Uncommon Slurs

Was Napalm Death hier versuchen als Raritätensammlung zu verkaufen, bekommt manche Band nicht mal als vollwertiges neues Album auf die Kette. 31 Songs auf 2 CDs verteilt, knappe 93 Minuten Spielzeit und mehr als nur Füllmaterial…hier gibt es regelrecht Hits am laufenden Band, die in der Century Media Ära entstanden. B-Seiten, Split-Single Tracks, Bonustracks und auch die eine und andere Coversong-Perle reihen sich nahtlos in die bereits bekannten Veröffentlichungen der Band und das Album könnte sehr wohl (wenn auch vllt. vom Flow her etwas „aufgeräumter“) durchaus auch als Best-Of durchgehen. Woher welcher Track stammt, entnehmt bitte der Tracklist. Der Hörspaß wird natürlich auch auf Vinyl erscheinen.

Fazit: Nicht nur, um die Zeit bis zum nächsten Studio-Album zu überbrücken, ist „Coded Smears And More Uncommon Slurs“ hochprozentiges Futter für Anhänger der Grind Pioniere, kurz: ein MUSS! Selten eine so feine Raritäten-Compilation zu Gesicht bekommen, heißer Anwärter auf meine Jahres-TopTen!
