Swedish melodeath doomers OCTOBER TIDE are at the writing stage of their seventh studio album, with plans to complete recordings during the summer months. Fredrik Norrman (ex-Katatonia, ex-Trees Of Eternity, Thenighttimeproject) finds the new material „less doomish“ in comparison to the band’s past works, that stretch from 1997’s „Rain Without End“ to 2019’s „In Splendor Below“.
The recordings will commence in May at the Swedish studio Gröndahl with Karl Daniel Lidén (Bloodbath, Katatonia) behing the consol desk. Later they’ll move to the memeber’s home studio and back again to Lidén, who’ll mix and master the album.
